Yamaha CA-1010, CA-1000II....Which one is better?

I do know that most people want the CA-2010......

But how do these two compare and what are the main differences, other than the Ca-1000II not having the signal meters.....................And also, how do they compare to the CA-2010?

And if there is a CA-1000II does that mean there is also a CA-1000?

Thanks!

(I know this late info, but if anyone is researching these great amps...)
I owned a CA-1000, and later got a CA-1010. The CA-1010 adds a little power and VU meters (tasteful, not BLARING). The CA-1000 has variable loudness. Both have a nice walnut veneered wooden case. The CA-1000 is 70 watts per ch., the CA-1010 is 90 watts per channel. Both can be used in Class A mode. Techs here say not to switch modes while the amp is running because it is hard on the switch. I sold the CA-1000 to a good friend because he really wanted it, and because he had trouble with one that came from eBay (a bad reapar, 2rc). Both of them sounded great when I had them. The one I sold to my buddy John in Oregon went first to Avionic and was rebuilt. He loves that amp. My CA-1010 was gone over by Terry DeWick, and it is fabulous as well. As to the sound, didn't have them to compare after the rebuild on the CA-1000, but I suspect that there is very little sonic difference. One minor point: the CA-1000 is physically smaller. These are just plain killer sounding amps.
