Yamaha CA-1010 Service Manual Excerpt

Should be a seperate thread rather than crapping...

The freely available CA-2010 manuals are cr@p, you could try the CA-1010 or part with some hard earned...

above site has been recommended by some yamaha forum members.

Power supply and audio wires appear ok
ie, Right channel Red wrap over clear and white GND and audio wires and orange and blue power supply
Likewise left channel, White wrap...

Looking at the 5 connectors on right channel, sequence(R->L) is orange, black, violet, white, red so ok there.
Left channel is Red, White, Grey, Black, Blue so that looks ok also.

The power supply board electrolytic caps take a hammering, consider replacing.

Suggest post on the yamaha sub forum, experts there will sort out your CA-2010.
I found this thread via a search for CA-2010 Manual. It was the top hit I think. Thanks for the quick check of the colors of those connections on the amps. This thing is packed!!!! I intend to replace those power supply caps as the top lid of one is already off, and I’m aware of how hot this thing runs, even when not in Class A operational mode. I used to use a Kensington System Saver GS to pull air through that too vent.
