Yamaha CA-2010 static/drop out of right speaker when changing volume

I’m getting an occasional drop in the right channel whenever I turn the volume. If I press lightly on the volume-control housing from inside the case, the right channel cuts out. I want to try cleaning the volume-control switch first. Any tips on the best way to clean it and which DeoxIT product works best? Anyone here have any experience taking one of these apart to clean it.

Welcome aboard Mecii
I would unsolder and remove the Vol/Bal control from its circuit board. Makes it a whole lot easier getting the Deox-it to where it will do the most good. :thumbsup:
