On sunday i got a yamaha CDC-675 cd changer. It is a five disc. You can load all 5 discs at once, as well as being able to change four while one disc continues to play. It is very quick and easy to program in tracks from all 5 CDs. It takes no more than 5 seconds to from the time a disc finishes till the next one starts. It also has CD-text, random play and an array of functions for recording to tape.

I got this player used for AU$150. An new one costs around $550.

The sound is warm with great detail. It images well.

Overall I think the performace is great for a changer.

Far out. Used to be y'all hadta record a couple of hours onto a VHS Hi-Fi-- ya got virtually the same playback as from the original cds.
Took a lot more time, I'm thinking.
I like Yammie gear.

The functions it has to help you record to tape are as follows:

A syncro button on the remote. This starts a compatible yamaha tape deck and starts the cdplayer after about 10 seconds.

If you input how long your tape is it can arange the songs to fit onto each side. This ensures that you don't end up with half a song at the end of the tape.

I had a Yamaha CDC-575 it was a COOL CDP, sounded very nice, sober looks, and had a neat feature where you could dim the display.

I sold it some time ago due to money problems :(
