YAMAHA CDX550E issue and possible repair?

Hi!

For a loooong time I had a turntable now but no real amp to pair it with. My dad had a very old Samsung (Smasnug as I like to call it) compact hifi thing wich had an aux in wich I used to amplify the signal from my turntable (with a cheap phono between the two). To finally end this age of ridicule, I started looking for an amp. This guy was selling a Yamaha AX397 at a nice price and paired it with the CD player mentioned in the title - the CDX 550 E. As I want to get into CDs too I bought the whole shabang. It arrives, the amp works wonderfully but the CD player has a weird issue. It starts playing, but randomly jumps back and after doing that one or two times just completely stops playing. Now I reached out to the seller who said "he packaged the wrong player and will send me the correct working one", but he also said he doesn't want this one back. I'm interested in how do I fix it? I'm attaching a video of the problem. Starts at around 1:15. Excuse my parrots in the background, they are very loud so don't use loud headphones while watching this. If it looks like an easy fix to some of you or you have a nice comprehensible guide I would be love to hear it.

Have a good one!
