Yamaha CR-420 - Stereo and indicator lighting issues

The CR-420 arrived in impeccable physical condition. However, I've noticed two issues, to date:
1) Right channel is weak while in STEREO mode, only. When I switch to Mono, R/L sound OK. However, in stereo, with balance fully right, right channel sound arrives only with excessive volume.
2) the indicator lights (for both the signal meter and the tuning indicator) turn on after about 10 minutes of receiver operation.
Looks like I am in for a nice little project....I hope.
Insights most appreciated.

Yamaha CR-420 All three bulbs not working

Newbie here,

What a great forum! All three lamps are not working in my CR - 420. The filaments all seem to be intact. What else should I be checking? Is this the correct forum to post this? Thanks in advance!

Yamaha CR-420 All three bulbs not working. Upon closer examination I noticed thate one of the red wires for the tuning indicator lamp became disconnected. Where does it go?
