Hi all! Since I’m inside my 620 recapping most of the capacitors, I’m going to clean up the pots and potentiometers. What would be the best way to get the crackles out? DeOxit? Also should I clean up the input and record out selectors with DeOxit? Those sound a bit crackly too. Also I’m having a problem with the volume knob cutting out the left channel. Still learning about this kind of stuff and I’d like to know what the experienced people do lol.
Thanks!

These two slide switches need to be disassembled. I guarantee the contacts are badly tarnished.

Don't even bother spraying anything into the top holes. You well be wasting time and deox-it.

Be sure you use Electronic contact cleaner, plastic-safe. I grabbed the wrong can & hosed down the volume pot array in mine. The carriers for the wipers in there are some kind of low-grade plastic, the shiite I used instantly destroyed 'em, necessitating an ad on here for a replacement, which paid off.
