Yamaha CR1000 wood cabinet restoration

Hello, I'm would like to embark on a new project to built a new cabinet for my Yamaha CR1000 receiver.

I would appreciate it if anyone can direct me on where to find the original specifications (i.e. dimensions, etc.) of the wooden cabinet?

I plan to use baltic birch plywood and walnut wooden veneer. Do you have other suggestions on the materials and tips on doing this project? Thanks in advance.
