Yamaha CT-800

I just purchased and received a very nice and reasonably priced Yamaha CT-800 Tuner.

It seems to be a strong tuner in both FM and AM. I especially like the variable muting feature (like the CR-1000). It's also a pretty good match with the CA-1000.

My only complaint is that I thought it had wood veneer--alas, Yamaha's patented Walnut Vinyl...might need to have it reveneered by Merrylander.

I have one. It came with a CA-1000 that is with Rob. I haven't messed with the tuner enough to form an opinion.

It's a very musical tuner. I bought one very cheaply when I owned a CT-1010. I liked the 800 so much I sold the 1010!! The Euro version apparently shipped with the real wood.
