Yamaha CX-600u Left Channel Noise

I am getting a bit of noise on the left channel of my Yamaha CX-600 Pre-Amp through headphones with source direct off and subsonic filter off. When I turn source direct on the noise stops and it is also less noticeable with subsonic filter on. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance.

Could be a dirty switch or control.Solder connection or component failure can't be ruled out.
