Yamaha Cx 800 Pre amp

I have a Yamaha pre amp that when using normal controls one side is out. When using the direct connect both sides work. I remember seeing a refurb on a Yamaha C 80 pre amp which seems very similar to this pre. I searched this site but cant find anything. Does anybody have any insight into this unit Thanks so much.

Very probably a dirty switch or control...

C-80 or 85 are the same electronically.

Sorry mates forgot to mention I cleaned all controls even had to disassemble variable loudness control to ensure proper function. The article I've been looking for seemed to deal with a recap and a few small transistors that needed to be replaced. Sorry for my lack of info in original post friends. Thanks for your help.

You need to fix the issues first...Before a wholesale replacement of parts.

Didn't go on HFE yesterday but dl'd normal this a.m.
