Yamaha FX-3 woofer surrounds

Hi everyone,
I hope your summer is going well.
I have a pair of Yamaha FX-3 speakers that I simply love and I've just noticed that the woofer surrounds have dried out and are starting to go away in pieces.
The surrounds on this pair are plain rubber and don't seem to be the original treated cloth I can see on my NS-1000M.
I've been looking all over the net for hours to find the JA-3601 surrounds replacement but here I am, out of options.
Do you guys have any idea of where I could find original replacements or at least custom made ones?

You're right sorry.
Here are a few pictures of the surrounds.
On the right side, the problem is only begining;



On the left one, it's already way more serious;


Strange thing is that it has appeared very quickly.

If the 36 cm diameter Cone of the JA-3601 already is unusual, the real challenge is the space between the paper cone and the aluminium structure that seems to be pretty unique.

I've been searching in japanese forums about this and found discussions about "custom-made silicone edge replacement" and even black tainted deerskin/chamois leather surrounds.
I couldn't find any further informations at this point.

Yes indeed. But those are good too. Looks like a classic case of the dreaded surround rot.

Years ago I had a pair of Cerwin-Vegas where the same thing happened. One day they look and sounded fine and then a few days later, 1 by 1 the rubber foam surrounds just disintegrated. Something we don't need to worry about with the NS-1K woofers due to the cloth surrounds and too bad that Yamaha didn't do the same with the FX-3 woofers.
Cloth surrounds rock, even after all of these years.

Ok I get it now.
I'm on vacation right now but I'll post detailled pictures of the speakers as soon as I get back home.
Including the crossovers I had to rebuild from scratch since the previous owner methodicaly massacred them.

Exactly what happened here.
These surrounds were perfect for years and have décided to desintegrate overnight.

According to what I've been reading here on AK, original surrounds on JA-3601 woofers were treated cloth.
Why previous owner changed them will remain a mistery...
The real challenge now is to find nos surrounds or someone able to provide good replacements.

That what I thought was the case since the FX-3's are some of Yamaha's best speakers ...
