Yamaha M60 Fuse location

Hi all,
A friend has a Yamaha M60 Amp (Voltage selector model) which has us stumped.
On the schematic there are 4 transformers shown.
On one shown as the regular transformer, the bottom wire (gray) shows it has a fuse somewhere.
We cannot find it. Does anyone know where the fuse would be located?
If it were simple i'm guessing we would have already figured this one out, it must be hidden away in some unusual place.

I think depending on what model you have, some fuses may not be there as a cost saving measure.

I would say internal to the transformer. I have an M60 here and looked at it and the schematic.

In the service manual I have, the "regular" model schematic shows two fuses and a V1. Nothing in my manual references V1.
It looks like a fuse.

I had a Marantz 2245 with a bad transformer. After I replaced it, I opened it up to see if I could repair it. There was a fuse buried in the windings.

The fuse is not a typical glass fuse.

Just a thought.

Its a thermal cut-out fuse. If the transformer gets too hot (ie too much current draw), the fuse opens and disables the transformer to prevent other collateral damage.

Hi again, Transformer is not functioning and the primaries are testing open. However, If we place a jumper wire in place of the wire to the fuse, thereby bypassing the "fuse" I have full function. I still have the 15 and 7 amp for protection but was concerned with other potential safety issues. I believe this "fuse" or lack thereof would of course eliminate any potential of use in 220/240 vac.

Sometimes those thermal fuses just go bad without any (or much) trauma. If you have a mains fuse then you are good.
