Hello
I have fixed several MX-1000s, but have never owned one. I decided to add one to my collection
. I received it this week. Its in very good shape. Original manual, a single owner, and never repaired. Good. But the packaging wasn't very good, and the courier company hit the package. Bingo. Consequence: A bent corner. 
I have managed to fix it, but is not the finish I want. If someone knows of a source for a faceplate I would be grateful. Yes, I know it will be very complicated ... but it's worth trying
