I have 2 Yamaha MX-1000's that are in need of repair. I use these monsters for biamping my JBL XPL-200'S ALONG WITH THE UNICORN DX-1 crossover, which is in need of refurbished RCA connections. Can anyone here direct me to a qualified servicer please?

You might want to indicate your location, that being said, Just Audio in Baltimore md does things by mail order, they fixed my CR-620 reciever this past summer. They can take a while because they get backed up, they do a lot of guitar amp repair as well. Good luck, it will be worth the effort.

Yes, Avionic (^^^^) would be best tech for your Yamaha gear, if he has space on his bench.

Is this too late to respond? lol... I have 2 of these units and neither is functioning. One of them simply puffed smoke when I powered it up the last time. So I really don't have a lot if details as to it not working, just that it isn't. I know one of them needs the lamps replaced, but they functionally do not operate. If they can be rebuil and repaired that would be amazing! They've literally been in storage for years now as I refuse to believe they are obsolete.
