My son and I are refurbishing some ns-690ll speakers. Being 16 years old and having owned several white woofer yamahas, he just can't fathom owning gray woofered Yammies. So, here are the questions:
1. Did the ns-1000's ever have white woofer cones?
2. Will an ns-1000 woofer work in an ns-690 box.
Ideally we would like to swap woofers and then we could swap back if we ever sold them. I looked up the specs on both woofers and they seem very very close. What do you guys think?
