Yamaha NS-690 Speakers - Fair Value =?

Any thoughts on what a pair of Yamaha NS-690s described as in excellent condition might be worth? Presumably Series I, grills and badges intact, no boxes but with Owner’s Manual. Condition of speakers surrounds unknown at this point, or if they have been re-foamed. Anything else about them that I should be looking at/for?
I’ll be seeing/hearing a pair tomorrow, and wondering what ‘fair value’ would be...

The version I did not use foam surrounds so there should be no deterioration. Let me put it this way, I would not part with mine for under $400 but that's just my opinion.

I no longer have my Ns 690II but I gave mine to a friend in an Speaker reduction spree.

If I were to have been selling them, I probably would have asked$200-$250 for the pair.
They were good speakers but a little too bright for me;
In A/B I prefered the yamaha's to the JBl4311's I had at the time.
And the JBLs>HPM's earlier.

merrylander - And a valued opinion it is. Of course, I will be using Yamaha electronics of the era.

gboneus - will do. Iff I buy, this will be the first pair of vintage speakers I've had since Bose 501 Series II and Canton CT-1000s bought new and long gone. Comparison would be with new(er) PSBs and Paradigms.

Any other thoughts/opinions/suggestions/advice...?
