Yamaha NS-70T speakers

I recently had a speaker flashback from my teen years, and Ive researched Yamaha speakers to match a pair my neighbor had in 1979. I have reason to believe they were the NS 70T's. Theres virtually none anywhere for sale, but I did find some nearby with aftermarket replacement tweeters at a low price (everything else on them is original and in gr8 shape). So my question is this: does anyone know what model number the original tweeters had stamped on them so I can begin tracking them down? (My grand plan is to get a pair of these ns70t's, and then purchase a Yamaha CR-800 receiver to match it up with).
Im also considering the more available 55t.
Additionally, am I going to encounter issues w/a 6ohm speaker?
Also what is the difference between nominal input and music input watts?
Thanks.

I have ns-55t. They might have the same tweeters or tweeters that would work. NS-55t are fantastic speakers.

Ive read really good reviews about both, but now Im leaning towards the 55T because of the higher power handling capacity. Whichever I get, Im planning on somehow making the front face black (either paint or vinyl wrap). The Yamaha NS-325 was released with black front & wood sides, & and I think the contrast looks great. (Id buy the 325 if its power handling weren't so low).

I found a really nice pair of NS-70T's on Craigslist summer before last. I had been stood up by a seller of an ADS EQ I wanted, so while sitting in the parking lot, with a couple of hundred dollars in my pocket, I got on my phone. I had been looking for a set of NS1000M's I could afford for a couple of years. I passed on a pair 2 years earlier on SGW for about $700 and had been regretting it ever since. So, there I was, and bang, a pair of NS-70T's about 5 miles from where I was sitting. Called the number, yep still had them, gave me the final address. When I got there, the seller had them set up for a demo in his garage. He dropped the stylus on an old Doors album and we started to talk. I, at that time knew absolutely nothing about the 70's. They sounded great, hooked up to the guy's HK430 Twin. I told him my NS1000m desire and story. He laughed at me and said these will do you really well until you find your 1000M's. The price was $300, no dickering at all. I was running a Toshiba 665 Stack at the time, so I knew I had a good system to drive them with. I have been loving them ever since. I had no idea how rare they were. I did find a set of 1000M's on SGW about 6 months ago. They were in Texas and I was in Washington, but it did not matter. Got the pair for $550. They have been ridden hard, A friend in Texas wanted to go Sturgeon Fishing in the Columbia River. I put him together with a couple of my fishing buddies and he delivered the 1000M's a couple of months ago. Bad crossovers. Sound like crap. I am now running a Sansui G-5000 and the 70T's sound great. I am in no hurry to restore the 1000M's. All I can say is, keep looking, they are worth the effort.

Sort off. I had read about the bad glue issues with the woofers. They don't seem to have failed. I will test the other drivers once I open the cabinets up.
