In the late 80s Yamaha introduced these speakers to the US market, exquisitely finished in piano or cherry, it featured a patented microcell tweeter, although not the NS-1000, it was typically Yamaha, accurate when pushed even moderately beyond its capacity and typical Yamaha sound. I bought few of them for my friends, one even had them hooked to the MX-1000, anyone in the forum familiar with them or own them please post your experiences.
