Yamaha NS-A635A Rehab

So I have these Yamaha NS-A635A 3-ways that I got for free. They kinda suck. And the midranges are cracked. The plan: convert them to 2-way by ditching the mid and adding a cheap but decent tweeter such as the Dayton Audio DC28F-8.

Due to budgetary constraints, I'd like to keep the original woofers, which are in good shape. Thing is, I can't find any Thiele-Small data for them (or any other Yamaha woofer for that matter). Anyone else worked with these or have TnS for them? I'd like to sim in BoxSim before I build.

I have yamaha A636...not sure the differences....not great construction nor caps/limiters.....(none going to the woofers? =/)

Anyways....mine sounded pretty good for what they were....was pleasantly surprise....so you could be by what you find in sound....i wouldn't bother going all original if things need replaced.

Not sure of an diagrams on them...their pretty simple...2 caps going toward the mid and high....in a line not attached to anything.

I filled mine with some sound dampening material....helped in the bass department if you find yours are lacking....
