Yamaha NS1000M through a Sansui G8700?

Is it safe to use a pair of Yamaha NS1000M’s rated at 100w continuous with a Sansui G8700 that’s rated at 160wpc without wrecking anything? Advice would be greatly appreciated before I make a really bad decision.

As long as both are operating properly, should be no problem at all. Speakers are more likely to be destroyed by under-powered electronics driven into distortion than by more clean power.

You have got a grrrrreat combo to listen to.. Enjoy... I think the Ns 1000 can get pretty loud rapidely.. don't over do it !
