Good day!
Lately I’ve been enjoying fiddling about with older turntables in an effort to learn more about them.
They are fun for me as their issues seem to generally be mechanically based rather than electronic and I am better able to work with those.
I’m looking at picking up either a Yamaha P-300 or a Technics SL-1900.
I realize neither are particularly great but wondering what the thinking was on sound quality of one vs. the other.
And also potential resale ease once I have them fixed up.
They are both quite inexpensive to purchase.
I have a P-300 already that I like and several Technics in various states of rehab.
I feel like the Technics would probably be more desirable in the resale market but want to weigh the quality as well.
Thanks for any insight offered
Mike
