Yamaha p520 direct drive turntable not spinning.

I am working on a yamaha p520 and it doesn't spin at all. Any clue what it could be ? I tried to measure the output of power transformer but I couldn't get any voltage reading. One other thing I noticed is that the strobe light doesn't turn off if the arm is in the off position but it does start flickering noticeably and becomes dimmer. The circuit for the strobe light is as far as I can tell not connected with the rest, but I figured it was worth mentioning. And yes I have measured and tested all the switches and potentiometers. Any ideas on where to go from here? And if possible could someone advise me on how to correctly measure the output voltage of the power transformer? The board for the motor also has an IC but considering I couldn't find any trace of incoming voltage to the motor in the first place I haven't tested it yet.

Just diagnosed a p520 with the same symptoms. The problem was an open thermal cutoff fuse in the transformer. Mine has no visible sign of heat related damage to the windings. The fuse is deep in the core and not accessible but the taps for it are easy to get to. Because of it's location I cannot identify the original fuse. Any thoughts on a suitable replacement would be helpful. The replacement will be on the outside of the windings instead of in the core. Note - The turntable has been running for 2 days with the fuse bypassed and has no thermal issues. Thanks
