Yamaha R-S201 : Adding a pre-out - Need Help

I have a Yamaha R-S201. I just thought of adding a pre-out to this AMP, so I can attach the equalizer to the line. Looking at the schematic I thought best point to do it is just before C103 & C104 along the signal path of R & L channels respectively.
-Is there any other point along L&R signal path to do this modification?
-Would this modification mess up the sound clarity?
-Any other thoughts?
