Yamaha remote control question.

Hey guys , long time reader , first time poster......Question. Picked up a used yamaha rx 496 Rec. but has no remote control. I was wondering if I could get a universal remote for my yamaha and sony scd ce595 cd player.. thought I would asked before I bought a remote from Yamaha for $30.00.. Any thoughts, I am so used to remote controlling the volume and cd's.......................Thanks.

Logitech Harmony. How many times do I have to say it. Get the cheap monochrome one. Some customization necessary for the 200, 300, or 400 disc players from Sony. Everything else works. Even out of date stuff. AND

Hey Red, just get a Phillips universal for 3 or 4 device from Walmart. Nice feel in the hand. . . . . Easy to program, even with Yamaha.
