Hi All
So this is where I am: I have a Yamaha Rx-1130 receiver that I bought in 1991 - saved up for a while to buy it too. I still use it as in two-channel mode and it works great, and I especially like the tuner. The issue is that some time back, the lights on the display panels went out. First, the large display panel on the left went out, and then the second (smaller) display light on the right (above the Surround Sound modes) went out too. I'm a bit of a newbie, but I opened it up and the two lamps for the large display on the left appear to be burnt out, but the bulb for the smaller display above the Surround Sound modes appears to be OK. But none of them are working. Everything else works beautifully and the sound is great. But because of the lack of display panels, it is difficult to use the tuner - among other things. Two questions:
1) Any thoughts on what might be wrong..?
2) Also, if the display bulbs need to be replaced, what can they be replaced with..?
Any help that you can provide is gratefully appreciated.
thanks
