Yamaha RX-V1400 Speaker hum

Haven't used this receiver a whole lot. I had noticed a hum from the speakers a while back, and thought I had got rid of it, or maybe I just forgot about it. Anyway , I noticed it again recently. The hum is what appears to be a 120hz hum, and is from the speakers only. It is from all the speakers that are switched on. There is no hum from the receiver, itself. I have two sets of speakers hooked up - A and B sets. When the speakers are switched on, the hum is there. Do not have to be playing anything, and increasing volume does not seem to affect the hum. I disconnected everything from the receiver , and reconnected one single speaker, and it had the hum when switched on. I had the receiver plugged into a power strip, with other things. I removed it from the strip and plugged it into the wall outlet, it still had the hum. It has the hum regardless of which input is selected.Is it possible there is a simple fix for this, or is it more likely to require opening it up and replacing caps and stuff?

Forgot to mention. When using headphones, there is no hum. All sounds well.
