Howdy folks, new poster here. Stumbled on this site while looking for some information on some old speakers I have gathering dust.
Just finished the new family room and put in 6.1 surround sound with a new tv and the old Yammies didn't make the WAF cut. I couldn't stand to just give them away or sell them for next to nothing so they reside in the basement now.
These speakers are from around 1979 0r 1980. they are three way with additional tweeters on both sides. The model no. is S-62.
I think they were called Synergistics 111.
These speakers are still in good shape and sound good. Was wondering if anybody else here has any memory of them and what they might be worth.
Also, would these be able to be used for front surrounds in a 6.1 system if my wife were to be accidentally pushed down the stairs? Or are they probabably not shielded. Thanx for any replys. Nice forum, Stevie
