Picked-up a rough-looking one, along with a couple of other low-value pieces, for a low low price. I'm very glad I did! Basically, this thing has a high class noise filter. So good, it gets rid of the stereo birds and snakes on Dayton WDPR 88.1, our wonderful but frustrating-to-receive classical station.

The only other thing I've known to accomplish this feat is the Carver TX1-11 external decoder. Gonna have to figure out a way to A/B these two.

Now, anyone have a dead one of these? I need to buy some buttons....

Mine (thrift-store find) is still alive and well, so, alas, no parts. But I wouldn't mind finding a replacement card for the station display. My '80 obviously was not from around here based on the frequencies used. A line on these would be appreciated.
