Yamaha VS Soundcraftsmen

I currently have a Yamaha C-4 preamp and t-7 Tuner. I need to add an amp. I also have a Soundcraftsmen PM-840 amp and DX4000 preamp. Should I just work the soundcraftsmen set or use this trade or sell to buy a nice yamaha amp to go with the C-4? I'm going to hook this up to some bose 901(with possible sonab od-11 for a rear set). Seeking opinions.
Thanks,

I also have a c4-t7 combo (c4 is currently being recapped) that I plan on rotating with my soundcraftsmen separates. I would recommend an M4 amp to go with your C4 and keep the S/C gear as well. I sold my S/C separates earlier this year and realized right away it was a big mistake. Luckily my bud sold them back to me and they'll never be leaving here again.
There's 2 totally different signature sounds in these set ups. Should you only be able to keep one only your ears will be able to tell you which one. My ears told me both of mine have to stay.

Thanks for the reply. I may try to do just that. I finally had a chance to hook up the SC components to the 901. WOW. Thats a damn good combo. Sounded so good that it did not sound loud, till we tried to talk and could not hear each other. So i guess I need to find an M-4 for some fun comparison.
