Hello,
I decided to finally print a Baerwald protractor and set up my Yamaha YP-B4 with ADC QLM 36 MK III cartridge properly (in the past I just used the Technics 52mm gauge).
I found a number online (a thread here) that shows the correct overhang distance to be 48mm. (I do not have the original headshell or turntable manual). The Vinyl Engine does not have a manual for this turntable either.
My question is this: In order to even get close to the 48mm measurement, I need to bring the cartridge as far back as possible, which looks very strange.
Does this sound like something is off? Does anyone have a manual that states the actual overhang distance?
There was a number in the brochure that stated "overhang 10mm (3/8")". This doesn't make sense to me.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
