Yard sale find and advice please

Found a pair of very good condition KLH Model 17s at a yard sale down the Cape this past weekend. $15, and they're mine. Cabinets, Woofs all in great shape, sound pretty good too. Here's a question or two: I'm considering a cap replacement, but the speakers have the "High Frequency" switch in the back, and the cap that is attached to the switch has 3 leads. Haven't seen this before, admittedly I'm a newbie. Should both caps be replaced? If so, where to find the right one with 3 leads? Might it be wise to just bypass the switch and replace the one cap? Any other mods to suggest? Thank you for any wisdom you can impart.

It's really just 2 caps in one package. By the looks of it, you have two 2uf caps at 50 volts.

Negative is common black and the two reds are each 2 uf.

Looks to have a different configuration than the 17's I just recapped. I had the double caps with the twin red leads, but I think that I had fewer resistors, if I'm seeing things correctly. You may just want to go through and make a note of what is in there now and try to replace everything as closely as possible with the instructions in the recap thread. Like I said, I just did mine, and boy was it worth it! Good luck!

Thank you all very much. I'll be ordering the new caps as soon as I can, and be reporting back. Think I'll also refinish the wood and grille cloth as well.

Those are stock caps, but later production than the more common cardboard tube caps. They are much better that the cardboard caps, but it's can't hurt to replace them.
