Mint local pair of the original Forte' (Forte' I) the cabs are 9 out of 10 & the woofers are 'new' looking and work. All four horns work. The guy wants 300.00 cash and he will deliver!

My plan is to do a full 'Bob Crites' on them :yes: Rebuild XOs with new wiring & new diaphragms for mids & tweets.

Total cost when finished 500 bucks +/-

Great deal, the usual asking price in my area is $500 to $600. I scored mine for $200 and gave them the full Crites treatment (XOs, mids, tweets) and the difference in sound was amazing. I run mine off of a 3W SET FWIW.

what is the "Bob Crites" treatment? I assume it has to do with rebuilding the crossovers. Do you have a link?
