I am SO excited that in a few days I'm going to have a fully restored 250M power amp. Back in the height of my stereo horse trading days I always came back to my Marantz 1200 with the 250 amp. I used that amp over a lot of McIntosh and other very highly praised gear. Sadly one day it died.
I tried buying another 250 off of ebay. But that was a long tail of fraud and scamming. The downfall of the better days of ebay.
As all my vintage gear began to fail I either sold it off or gave it away. Some BIG mistakes there. I have since moved into new gear. An odd and strange story of money and kit building.
It's been around 12-15 years since I've heard one and I am VERY excited to have it a 250 back in my hands. And a 250M was an even bigger bonus.
