Well since I normally don't listen to music on Youtube, this is one of the few videos/songs I've sat through. It's a great rendition of Rush's "Subdivisions" that surprisingly comes off very well in acoustic (so well, in fact, that Rush invited the performer, Jacob Moon, to play it at their Canadian Songwriter Hall of Fame induction in 2010; the whole story can be found here: http://rushvault.com/2011/07/23/jacob-moons-subdivisions-anatomy-of-a-good-cocktail-party-story/).

Love the video too, the simple atmosphere of the roof conveys a certain emotional backdrop that enhances all of the song's attributes, including lyrical content, imo. A beautiful rendition of a timeless classic.


I also like this one by "dark folk" singer/songwriter Emily Jane White (both of her albums I have are good; I have yet to get her latest). The low key atmosphere of the video conveys the mood of the song well.
