A good friend of mine owned a record store. One day a couple came in with a relative's records from an estate. They were pretty common stock, so my friend offered them a few dollars for the batch. They agreed to the price and left.
A few days later he was cleaning them up to put out on the shelf and he felt a lump inside one of the covers. He dumps it out on the counter and there were three one hundred dollar bills. He had no idea who the people were or where they lived so he couldn't return it.
People used to hide all sorts of stuff inside the record jackets. In my finds I've turned up porn, dope, newspaper clippings, photos and ticket stubs, but no money.
