Damn Gene!

Looks like you've been busy with the camera! What don't you have! Now I don't know which one I like most. They all look great and rare too.

Real nice looking stuff! I like the Hitachi!

You would be surprised at how good all of these little integrateds sound. Hey, I won't win a popularity contest here saying this, but they really put receivers to shame. Seperates rock!

ReEdger,

quite a nice collection indeed!

I like the early Denon stuff especially.

Nikko once made some silver integrated amps with meters, might have been a model 500 or 550. Saw two pop up on eBay within a two week period, and have never seen another since.

Early Denon did you say?

Well, thedelihaus here's an early Denon. So early that it has Japanese writting on the back. Certaintly far from mint condition, but it's an interesting piece. Built like a little tank and sounds superb!
Denon PMA-235

I've got some really high resolution photos of some of this stuff, too big to post here, but if you want to see them drop me a PM.

Yamahammer,
Well, it's possible for me to do a group shot. But I am out of room. What I mean is, the site won't let me post any more pics unless I delete some. I'll leave the pics in this thread up for a while, then when this thread dies, I'll remove them.

Vintagestereo does not have ALL of the bigguns. He does not like, and says that some of the most significant and historic giants ever made, are not his cup of tea.
It's my belief that he does not have, either that, or might not want to have an SX-1980, Marantz 2600 or 2500, Yamaha CR-3020,
Sansui G-33000 or G-22000, and Technics SA-1000, among others.
Now, that's quite an omission!

Gene,

I thought I saw it all, but missed half of those separates. What about your receivers like the Big Rotel and Optonicas? And what about all those speakers? I wanna be like you when I grow up!

Cheers!

I have a Rondo GS-1100 20-band equalizer. I have not heard much about Rondo but I think they are profesional studio gear.

I will post some pictures tomorrow

You beat me to it you dog. What kind of shape is it in?

Gary
If this is directed to me and involves the Craigslist ad, yes, I am a canine. The amp is in good shape, cosmetically. I had to do a Deoxidation on the controls as it did not play through one channel. All is now good. The seller came back from a business trip to find that his wife had not only painted the living room but had pushed his speaker wires into the wall cavities and patched the holes. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting that fine lady but would assume that she is attired with pants that at one time belonged to another member of that family. :sigh:

OK, Thedilihaus, here is my fairly uncommon amp, uncommon the way I'll use it I bet. Its a Crestron 60wpc amp from fleabay. Haven't got it set up to work in a non-Crestron rig yet, kind of a pita. I'm just hoping it'll work, the packing job was uninspired :tears: . Crestron for those that don't know is equipment designed for a large layout, it can be controlled centrally, good for corporate environments, museums, lazy people J/K, etc. Here's a couple pics

IMG_0317.jpg

Its very no-nonsense, compact & heavy, I have high hopes for it. Model # CNAMPX-2X60. 90 watts into 4-ohms, 200 watts 8ohms bridged . Retails for $900-1000, I didn't get anywhere near that price.

Edit: I got it to work, sound is a little thin but the very cheap cable I'm using to connect the tubed pre to this has something to do with that. It puts out quality sound and people tend to ignore these professional amps so look out for them, high quality at a low price if your lucky.

I got a Dunlap Clarke Dreadnaught 250 at the flea market a year ago or so. It is probably my most unique piece of gear (aside from junk). Only one channel works (due to more than just the missing fuse), but I was thinking of using it as a subwoofer amp. I would love to fix it up some day if for no other reason then just to see how it stacks up against my Yamaha M-2.

An SAE 2800 Parametric Equalizer that I bought new in 1978 for $489. I only use it now for low volume music or bad recordings. Sorry for the poor photo. It was cropped from a much larger image.
