Well, we don't do much live music these days, but we were at the 250 seat Reston Community Center Sunday Mar 2nd.
We're big fans of the Irish band, Lúnasa - seen them many times since the late lamented DC Irish festival at the Montgomery Co Fairgrounds Sept 2000.
(They reminded me of early Tull, in some ways). Anyway, when tickets go on sale in August they sell out quickly!
They do a 2pm and a 7pm show, we had 4th row seats for the 7PM show and were very happy!
A big fan of Bassist Trevor Hutchinson, who started with the Waterboys in the 80s before becoming founding bassist for Lunasa in 1999.
I though his Travel Bass was particularly intriguing - did a websearch on it and found it knocks down pretty completely -
whether he plucked it or bowed it, the sound was excellent and full! https://www.travelbass.it
Also like their piper, Cillian Vallely, but I didn't take a picture of him.

Just bought tickets for Warner Theatre in DC, April 13, 2027 - Steve Hackett - Best of Genesis and Solo material.
Last year I got a DVD of his show a few years back and it certainly nailed my memory of Genesis during the Seconds Out tour back in the day.
I saw Gabriel's first solo tour in Baltimore back then as well, as well as lawn seats at Merriweather for the Gabriel 4 or 5 tour ... (Shock the Monkey!)
Emma has never seen Genesis, so it should be a hoot. $225 for the pair of mid Orchestra seats
