I find it sort of annoying that everything is on there, and if you want to know what local events are happening, thats pretty much it. I sometimes like to go to charity dinners because I like to eat, and if I can eat and support something I'm in favor of I consider that a win. I usually find out such things happened a week or two after the fact. "It was on Facebook". Good to know, I'm not, so I guess I'm effectively uninvited.
I miss Craigslist. Didn't have to sign up for anything, no endless scrolls, no videos, just simple text posts that you could read or not as you saw fit.
