DBX 3x2 Soundfield Sat/Sub system with two additional satellites for my 5.1 system
Kenwood KM-205 Power Amplifier
Ultimately I will be thinning down the herd to consist of the Kenwood, Nikko and Pioneer equipment, the Nikko will serve as the pre-amp for the KMs, the KA/KT combo will drive the 201s, the KM-106 will drive the 380s and the KM-205 will handle the NS-A220s, with the Pioneer of course handling the home theatre duties for now.
I admit I bought the SDATs primarily because they were cheap and looked cool, there seemed to people of both camps so I risked it, and quite frankly have no regrets about it, their a really nice sounding system.
The 201s are a sentimental purchase really, an icon of my college days, the 530s were a dumpster find, but their being banished to the garage because hey suck compared to the others and the NS-A220s, for the $5 dollars I paid for them because the guy thought they were blown (the adhesive had dried and broken loose around the back panel, hence there was just enough gap to produce an alarming "thwap" at volume, a 5 minute fix) and they are exactly what I wanted, a rock and roll speaker to blow dry my hair.
