You should loan it to me Nate, at least then it would be one time removed :D, or would that be two times removed :scratch2:

Cheers

Lar

My that is pretty.  Who did the paint work on the bells and the top plate? The color and texture just look sooo right with those 45s.

Beautiful.... I have a UX245 amp that's being built right now :) Can't wait to hear it on the ol' Altecs. I'm going to have the option of 45's or 2a3's on my set with the flick of a switch.

Happy listening.

I can see that. Good decision.

Might've stood a chance with regular 45's and before the hammered-finish paint.
Jeff, sorry for your loss.

Those filaments are very very delicate, but you guys know that. I think every 45 globe that I have that is bad, is open fil. Except for one "large" globe that's gassy.

globe 45s :-)

I don't care what it looks like. It's the sound that's making me consider a life of crime!

(...Aw, who am I kidding? It's got to look good too, and this thing hits on both cylinders!)

Love that amp. Bet it sounds great with the Edgars.
Not too shabby! Very nice indeed.

Add a yak and you got yourself a deal, mister!

I'd tell you that they're safe with me, but a couple fellas around here know better. I tried to kill these very tubes! :sigh:
