MAN....Suicide?
Did some great work with Fleetwood Mac
Was just listening to Ebony Eyes yesterday.
RIP BW Hope you're pain free on the other side now.

I was never a huge Bob Welsh fan, but fondly remember slow dancing to Sentimental Lady when I was in High School :naughty:

Sad to hear it was a suicide.

Thanks for the music and the memories, Bob. RIP

G'day all, my gosh that is indeed horrible news. I remember 'Ebony Eyes' fondly from my High School days and especially the video.

This year has been a terrible year for musicians passings. Regards, Felix aka catman.

My favorite song was Hypnotized.

News said he was fighting recent health issues. Perhaps the future was bleak and he wanted to hold on to his dignity and go out on his own terms. Having watched a family member suffer with Alzheimer’s I hope I will always have the ability to determine my exit date.

Was listening to Fleetwood Mac Mystery to Me when the the news came across the wire of Bob Welchs' passing. R.I.P. Bob. Same thing happened when I heard Ronnie Montrose passed, I was listening to Rock Candy.

Damn, hate to hear this...BOTH "Sentimental Lady" versions are faves of mine, "French Kiss" from '78, & "Bare Trees" from '71.

RIP Bob Welch

A great guitar player on some of Fleetwood Mac's best albums including Bare Trees, Mystery to Me and Future Games. Rest in Peace Bob Welch

Wow. Seems like we lose a great musician almost daily these days. Will have to play "French Kiss" tonight. Great record.
