    Sansui 1000x LED dial lamps

    I replaced the burned out 6.3v incandescent dial lamps in a new-to-me 1000x with 8v LED fuse lamps. While the new LED bulb are a bit dim, they become brighter when I turn the selector knob in-between positions; between Phono and FM, in between FM and AM, etc... I've cleaned the selector switch...

    How do I 'mod' a Sansui 1000x for better overall performance?

    Good day ladies and gentlemen, I hope that everyone is doing very well! I am a newbie at modding vintage receivers and the like, I apologize if I use an improper term or any phrases. I just picked up a Sansui 1000x that looks like it just came straight off the line, no scratches, dings or dents...
