    Spent several months recapping my late grandfather's sansui au-717 and after turning it on it is staying in the blinking light mode or protection mode. Getting 0 volts in both speaker terminals for dc offset. Getting almost 0v on f-2721 for bias current voltage. But for f-2722 I am getting...

    Sansui AU-717 DC Offset & Bias Help

    Hey Audio Karma. I am new to the Hi-Fi Audio world and am in need of some of your knowledge. I am almost through re-capping a Sansui AU-717, and am curious about adjusting the DC Offset and Bias of this amplifier. Does anyone have experience in this or know a thread with good info?     Sansui AU-717 - Need a little help

    I acquired a 717 with the left channel being I guess distorted, but also sounded like only partial signal. The little sound that was coming through the left channel was obviously less volume than the right. When used as only an amp, both channels work fine. I thought it might be in the preamp...
