    Rockwool in 24" Widths??

    Want to build some DIY panels and bass traps but having trouble finding rockwool/mineral wool in 23-24" widths without buying a pallet's worth. Home Depot min. is 16 bags, $1250! Don't really want to slice up 15" widths or narrow the panels. Anyone have experience with this?

    How high up on the wall do acoustic absorption panels need to be?

    On my back wall, I have a mirror that I wanted to keep up, so i put my acoustic absorption panel below it in a horizontal fashion. the panel is now closer to the floor than the ceiling. Is this a mistake? Will the panel only work if high up on the wall? thanks.
