    Question about Balanced sub connection

    I have a subwoofer that has stereo xlr inputs and an integrated amp with a mono xlr sub out. Should I use an xlr y-splitter to go from mono (at the integrated) to LR (at the sub)? Or would I be OK just using a mono xlr cable from the amp to one of the subs xlr channels (foregoing the Y splitter)?
