    Dual 1249 No sSound

    Got a thrift shop 1249 Dual. It has been tinkered with, the ground leads were pulled off and the speed control is gone. Replaced the stylus, no sound. Checked the leads, they are fine. Could the Grado ZT+ cartridge be out for both channels?

    Dual 1249 - Floppy Cueing Lever

    I recently found this turntable at the curb. I have managed to get the automatic features working, but the cueing lever is really floppy. I believe the mechanism is similar on many other dual models. Anyone know what to do? Here is a video of the problem:
