    Removing platter bearing/washers Garrard Lab 80

    Hi all, I picked up a Garrard Lab 80 as a project and I have a question about removing the old platter bearing/washers and installing new ones. As you can see in the picture, the original bearings are long gone, and I think one or two of the washers were gone too as the platter is riding way...

    Garrard Lab 80

    Audio sounds suppressed. When I activate the auto return there are a brief few seconds where the audio improves. I have checked the tonearm wires and the muting switch. I also replaced with a known good cartridge. Any Garrard enthusiasts that may know where to look? Thank you in advance
