    Laserdisc's CX audio vs PCM sound.

    What were the main differences? I know CX was analog and PCM is digital but did they have the same frequency response? A buddy of mine once told me that older laserdisc sound really sucked without having PCM, Dolby or DTS sound.

    I have a Sony MDP-600 Laserdisc w/remote that works and is excellent in appearance with about 30 discs, mostly action movies from the mid 90's. It's been in the secondary system since my DVD and Blu-Ray took over. A few years ago friends of our visited from out-of-state and their teenagers...
