Hi I've been in the process of rebuilding my CT-F8282 transport - new belts / rewind pulley (WJOE) and rebuilt idler (@markthefixer) and today I put it all back together (well at least to the point that I put power to the transport. On putting a cassette in, no function will move the tape. So...

I've replaced the brass and rubber wheel that turns the FF Idler. Reassembled the FF Idler with a new e-clip on the end of the shaft (not easy!). I have checked for undue friction between the takeup and supply reel assemblies and the chassis or other parts they come into contact with. The spring...
